Time-dependent Density Functional Theory
Block course details
The lecture will be given by Dr. Helbig.
The chapters discussed are the following:
- Review of static density functional theory
- Fundamental theorems of TDDFT
- Time-dependent Kohn-Sham system
- Numerical time propagation
- Adiabatic approximations for \(v_{xc}\left(\vec{r},t\right)\)
- Exact properties of \(v_{xc} \left(\vec{r}, t\right)\)
- Linear response in TDDFT
- Calculation of excitation energies
- Exchange-correlation kernel
- Charge transfer in TDDTF
